I thought I would share my favorite beauty products from this summer. I have recently experimented and changed a few products and brands that I would normally use and have managed to find amazing yet cheap products that I think are definitely worth a purchase.
I'm going to start with my new mascara which is called "Miss Manga" by L'Oreal. It's extremely unique and I doubt anyone has seen a mascara quite like it because it has a bendy brush which shows it can work your lashes at all angles and provides both your top and lower lashes with maximum volume. I do have high expectations with mascaras as I can be rather snobby with brands etc. However I found this product was just as good as the Benefit mascara which is known for being No.1 best mascara. However sorry to put a downer on things but my "Miss Manga" ran out extremely fast and completely dried up after a month of purchasing it. But with it being so dirt cheap(£8.99 from Boots) I'm sure stocking up or nipping to the shop once a month isn't the end of the world because I know we all want perfect lashes.
Now moving onto the best part I'm going to reveal my new amazing purchases from the one and only Rimmel. I have to say I am slightly addicted to the Rimmel shelf in Boots and always end up buying something as evidently realising my makeup bag is packed with the brand. But my new regime consists of using the "Techniques" brush to apply Rimmel "Wake Me Up Foundation". And then using a foam pad I apply the "Stay Matte Powder" which has been an absolute life saver this summer. I don't particularly suffer from bad skin but when the sun is out everyone turns a little greasy and shiny, especially on our t zone so I found applying the powder on my forehead, nose and chin was a great way to stop my skin from looking super shiny. And then finally I evenly apply the Rimmel "Natural Bronzer" on top to allow my skin to look glowing and it also includes SPF15 which is great on hot and sunny days.
And last but not least is the Rimmel "Moisture Renew Lipstick" (in the shade 'As you want Victoria'). I was bought this as a gift from my friend and when I first tried it it was slightly shocking because the bright pinky/purpley shade is very bold. However I found lightly dabbing it on and then applying a pink lip gloss over it really evened it out and made it look more natural and took away the harshness of the look. But I also found it matches my olive skin tone nicely and makes my lips look bigger.
Thanks for reading and hopefully you will feel the same way about these great products. Don't be afraid to let me know of any products you love at the moment or let me know what you think of the purchases.
xoxo
